Adidas needed a large, impressive video wall for its headquarters in Herzogenaurach. Due to the building's structural conditions and a 25-meter-deep extension, a torsion-resistant housing was developed specifically for this project.
It was set up in the parking lot in front, and all the technical equipment was installed there. A heavy-duty crane then lifted the entire LED wall into place at once and anchored it securely.
LED Outdoor
Outdoor LED displays are typically manufactured as P4, P5, P6, P8, P10, P12, P14, P16, P18, P20, P25 or P30 full color versions (the respective number indicates the pixel pitch in mm).
They are also available in monochrome. Mounting is done on scaffolding, pylons, or directly on building facades. The front panels of our outdoor displays are generally IP65 rated, meaning that no additional protective measures such as glass panes are necessary.
For critical installations - e.g. near the sea - we can build additional protective enclosures to guarantee comprehensive protection against salt water.
Nickel-plated steel is used for the construction of pylon solutions. With proper preparation and planning, installing the displays and commissioning them is straightforward and easy.
LED walls for advertising are exclusively supplied with a light sensor, so that the brightness of the display is automatically adjusted to the ambient light.
The example shown depicts a P25 display in outdoor use. It is protected against all weather conditions such as snow, rain, and heat. Special attention was also paid to vandal resistance and easy service access.
VICOM LED displays are mounted directly to the facade using a special wall bracket. The images are bright and vibrant, making them ideal for advertising. Manufacturing this LED display is particularly cost-effective because the wall bracket was already integrated into the design, allowing for the use of primarily standard components.
LED displays for flexible rental use must meet specific requirements. Firstly, they must be practical and lightweight to ensure quick setup. Secondly, they must be both freestanding and wall-mountable to fully meet customer needs. Finally, they must be extremely robust, as they must withstand the rigors of everyday staging environments without sustaining damage.
