VisGuide is an impressive software for digital signage applications. It perfectly combines conference room management with the presentation of general information such as films, slideshows, PowerPoint presentations and more.
All common multimedia formats that are necessary for displaying films and images can be played with VisGuide. Files can now easily be dragged and dropped into the daily application or a loop container.
Templates prepared in HTML are the basis for the easy use of the multi-screen function. Individually prepared text fields, for example for restaurant menu cards, greetings, weather and traffic information, are combined with image content.
To do this, select an image from your list and enter the desired duration for it. Alternatively, select multiple images. These are then played back as part of a slide show with perfect crossfades.

Digital door signs (VisDoor) are installed in front of each conference room, which display the current meetings in a time-controlled manner. In addition, visitors to the VisDoor BusinessLine model are informed from a distance by a light frame whether the room is free or occupied.
The ticker module is a universal auxiliary tool for all types of ticker applications today:
VisGuide's ticker concept is probably unique. First, the user can choose whether he wants to use the automatic display of an RSS feed (which is ready-made content that is retrieved from a website) or whether he wants to place his own text message as a ticker. All text messages written can be saved so that they can be reactivated and updated at any time. The possibility of using different fonts is particularly helpful for foreign guests: Russians, Chinese and Japanese can be addressed in a targeted manner using their own characters.

Another security feature is the built-in control of the connected displays. This means the operator can check from his workplace which image a particular monitor is currently displaying. An image of the current representation is transmitted REAL via the data line.
VisGuide is an excellent medium for transmitting advertising messages because, on the one hand, all types of advertising messages can be displayed (from advertising films to spontaneously written offers), and on the other hand, these messages can be shown in a time-oriented manner.
Target group-oriented advertising
A display format can be specified individually for each display monitor. Three formats can be selected:
Schedules for the use of the monitors are easy to enter and can be assigned individually for each display monitor or VisDoor.
Room plans and equipment features can be viewed immediately when making a booking request. To do this, click on the room and an additional window opens with the desired information.
Drinks and food can be booked individually for each conference with a click of the mouse. The transmission to catering takes place automatically via email. Changes to orders will be automatically resent.
Viewing and booking VIP rooms can only be done with special authorization. This way, discretion can be maintained. These rooms are not accessible with a “general” authorization.

In large organizations today, it is often common for sales employees and clerks to book their numerous appointments via external programs.
Appointments, participating employees, external personnel and the rooms are coordinated and booked efficiently via Microsoft Outlook (in conjunction with Exchange Server) or via Lotus Notes. Blackberry bookings are also possible. VisGuide optionally has Exchange and Domino as well as other interfaces to communicate with external programs.
Nothing changes in the tried and tested way of working, because VisGuide independently takes over the bookings made from the Exchange server and asks the responsible employee for additional requests regarding catering, technical equipment and design of the digital door signs. The data transfer and booking processing works similarly with Lotus Notes and the Domino server.
With the multiscreen option you have even more freedom in designing your presentation on the information displays. Multiscreen allows you to present several simultaneous feeds on one monitor. This means that multimedia films, video live streams, tickers and static image content can be freely combined. Smooth playback is guaranteed in all windows.
The menus can be displayed flexibly and professionally with the help of VisGuide. Even several food distribution stations can be served with individual menu plans at the same time.

From version VisGuide 8 onwards, a web-based version of the room booking module is available. This means that conference room bookings can be made anywhere using an iPad or smartphone via a browser.
The room booking module gives you a perfect overview of all bookings. Appointments can be rescheduled within seconds. The events can be rebooked at any time. Simply drag the booking to another room or time with your mouse.
There are different display modes - so the user can use the overview view by day, week or month and thus easily determine related free capacities.

The new VisDoor generation has high-resolution displays. This enables clear and brilliant presentation of texts, images and logos.
VisDoor Elegance and BusinessLine are available in the following sizes: 7”, 10”, 13”, 16” (other sizes on request).
The VisGuide software has the option of accessing the data via an interface of various room booking systems (Exchange, CSV and Outlook) and forwarding it to the VisDoor door signs. If MS SQL servers are present, in this case the data can be obtained from the MS SQL server table.
All wired displays can optionally be delivered with touch. This means that spontaneous bookings, booking extensions or new bookings can be entered directly on the panel. The door locking system can also be activated via VisDoor Touch; Access is then only possible by entering a password.
Optionally, the power supply for VisDoor Elegance and BusinessLine can be provided via PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) and EoP (Ethernet-over-Power). The voltage is routed via the CAT cable in parallel with the signals. This technology is available on the VisDoor door signs in sizes 7”, 10” and 13”. Other models on request.
VisDoor displays can be switched on and off automatically using time-controlled software. If a room booking is outside of these times, it has priority, which means that the display is active until the last conference booking has been processed. This saves energy costs and extends the lifespan of the door signs.
VisDoor displays are slim and can therefore be easily attached directly to a wall. Wall recessed boxes are optionally available and can be used for drywall or stone walls.
If the unlikely event occurs that the image “freezes” inside the VisDoor Elegance or BusinessLine, the operating software recognizes this independently and reboots the display. So the error corrects itself.
In addition to our successful VisDoor models Elegance and BusinessLine, we offer radio-controlled models called WAVE. These receive their data exclusively via radio and are powered by batteries. So no cables are necessary! The different VisDoor display types within a building can also be combined.
